This year at Hes Fes we will be rehearsing and staging a new play called 'Carlos' Field'. It was written to illustrate what happens to communities and families when cash crops start being grown - It is a part of an educational resource based on the well known story "Journey to the River Sea" by Eva Ibbotson.
Join Daniel Pollendine of BigIntent Theatre, Marcus Davidson, composer & Charles Matthews, composer & pianist for a day of ensemble style physical theatre. If you want to act, sing, mime, or dress up then there is a role for you.
The play will be performed on the main stage at the end of the two - hour rehearsal, & filmed so that you can keep the memory forever.
We need 20/30 children aged 7 and upwards to take part in the production of this theatre & music event. Costumes will be provided. The play is part of a new drama education pack that is being launched and refined at Hes Fes.
