Please note that the safety of children is the responsibility of parents and guardians at all times.
Q. Is everything included in the ticket price?
A. Yes all camping, facilities, workshops, events and entertainment are included.
Q. Do we have to have tickets in advance or can we buy them there?
A. Tickets are only available in advance.
Q. What ages is HESFES suitable for?
A. From toddlers to adults.
Q. Are we able to come for just part of the time?
A. Yes but only week tickets are available as the cost of hiring out the site and facilities is the same whether families stay for a week or part week .
Q. Can we stay offsite and just come in each day?
A. Yes but the ticket price is the same as the cost of hiring out the site and facilities is the same whether families camp or not.
Q. Can we arrive on any other day than the Saturday?
A. Yes the gate will be manned throughout the week.
Q. Can we camp together as a group?
A. Yes, someone from your group needs to contact us with your group name and approximate numbers.
Q. Will there be a quiet area?
A. Yes it is located in a separate field from the Marquee field but not far away and near to facilities etc.
Q. Are there electric hooks available?
A. Yes at extra cost in a separate camping area to the Marquee field but very near.
Q. Will we be issued with a programme booklet on arrival?
A. Yes, it will contain a full listing of days and times of workshops and events plus any important information. Remember to check the notice boards in the main marquee for any changes.
Q. Are dogs allowed?
A. Yes but all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must be under control and not aggressive. Any dog mess must be picked up straight away. Any dog owners not complying with these rules will have to leave immediately and no refund will be given.
Q. Are we able to arrive early and /or stay for longer?
A. Arrivals no earlier than 9am on the 21st and departures no later than 3pm on the 28th July. We will not be able to accommodate families outside of these dates. Unless you are staying on an electric hook up pitch which is available at an additional cost of £18 per extra night.
Q. Are fires/Bar -B-Qs allowed?
A. Yes, as long as they are raised up from the ground to prevent scorching.
Q. Are we able to park next our tents?
A. Yes.
Q. Are we allowed to set up stalls?
A. To preserve the non-commercial nature of HESFES stalls of any kind are limited. Please contact us first before planning anything of that nature.
